After his father is assassinated in Burkina Faso, a Burkinabè man living in the United States returns home and uncovers a dangerous connection between his family’s past, political corruption, and the future of his country.
Kader Sanogo returns to Burkina Faso following the assassination of his father. What begins as a personal search for answers gradually exposes a network of family betrayal, political corruption, and long-protected secrets.
As Kader moves deeper into the investigation, he discovers that his father’s death cannot be separated from the country’s unfinished struggle for justice. He must decide how far he is willing to go to confront those responsible and protect the legacy his father left behind.
